2. Now look at the screen. Listen to the poem and then say what we are going to speak about today.

Oodles of noodles, rice with spice

When I’m hungry, food is nice.

Yes, you are right. Today we are going to speak about food. The topic of our lesson is “Food all over the world”

3.Let’s train our tongue. Look at the screen. Let’s listen to some words and try to remember them (lemon, beans, mango, butter, coconut, flour, pineapple, olive oil, sugar, salt and pepper, tomato).

And now tell each other these words, using RALLY ROBIN with your face partners. Numbers … begin.

4. Let’s play the game “In the shop”. You had to learn new words and expressions at home.

Now I’ll check it up. I’ll give you the cards with new words. You should stick them to the blackboard next to their pictures

(a packet of biscuits, a bar of chocolate, a kilo of potatoes, a loaf of bread, a jar of jam, a carton of milk, a bottle of Coke, a tin of beans).

You should make up dialogues with these words using the structure RALLY ROBIN. Work with your shoulder partners. Numbers … begin. Don’t forget to thank your partners.

8. Find exercise 3 on page 49. Look at the pictures and try to remember them (yogurt, onion, chicken, beef, cheese, milk, carrot, banana, potato, lamb, mango, cherry).

Let’s read and translate these words all together.

And now I’ll give you the pictures of these kinds of food. You should divide them into dairy, meat, fruit or vegetable. In the corners of the room you can see these four groups.  You are to choose the right corner.

Now let’s make up sentences. For example: Yogurt is dairy.
