Тип урока: урок усвоения новых знаний.
Задачи урока:
образовательные: ознакомление с новой лексикой по теме страны и национальности;
развивающие: развитие коммуникативных компетенций и кругозора учащихся;
воспитательные:
– воспитание толерантного отношения к традициям других стран и национальностей;
– повышать уровень мотивации к изучаемому предмету;
– формировать умение работать в паре, в группе, индивидуально;
– формировать социокультурную компетентность учащихся;
– развивать межпредметные связи.
Оборудование: интерактивная доска, компьютер, проектор, различные тематические картинки, раздаточный материал, презентация учителя.
Ход урока
- Организационный момент (2 мин.)
Учитель. Good morning children! How are you today? What season it is now? What day of the week is it today? What date is it today?
Ученики. Good morning teacher! We are glad to see you. It’s spring. It’s Friday today. It is 16th of March.
Учитель. Well done, please, take your seats. Let’s start our lesson.

Whether the weather is hot
Whether the weather is not
We‘ll weather the weather
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not.
III. Постановка цели и задач урока. Мотивация учебной деятельности учащихся (5 мин.) (Слайд 2)
Учитель. Have a look to the board please and tell me what can you see?
Ученики. There are proverbs on the board.
Учитель. Well done. You are right. Let’s try to match the beginnings and their endings, and then try to guess the topic of our lesson.
Ученики. “Don’t listen to what they say. Go see”
“Live life with no excuses, travel with no regret”
“Better to see something once than hear about it a thousand times”
The topic is travelling, countries.
Учитель. you’re absolutely right! Well done! Where would you like to go today?
Ученики. USA, Great Britain, Canada…
- IV. Актуализация знаний (5 мин.) (Слайд 3)
Учитель. Open your pupil’s books at page 12, please. And tell me where shall we go today?
Ученики. We will go to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island.
Учитель. Great job. Have a look to the map in your books. What four countries you can see on this map?
Ученики. Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, Wales.
Учитель. Well done. Tell me please, what is the capital of Northern Ireland? England? Wales? Scotland?
Ученики. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland. London is the capital city of England. Cardiff is the capital of Wales. And the capital of Scotland is Edinburgh.
Учитель. Perfect! You are all well done! Open your books at page 10 and let’s read the Proper names at ex.15 after me please.
Ученики (читают за учителем названия стран, столиц и национальности).
- V. Первичное усвоение новых знаний и их отработка (5 мин.)
Учитель. Take shits of paper that I have given to all of you, please. And do ex.1 (write the countries and nationalities that we have studied today), please.
(Ученики делают упр на раздаточном материале, затем проверяют вместе упр 1.)
- VI. Первичная проверка понимания (8 мин.)
Учитель. Let’s watch a short video about children. After finishing, please tell me
What are their nationalities and in what country does each child live?
(Ученики смотрят видео и отвечают на поставленный вопрос.)
VII. Первичное закрепление (7 мин.)
Учитель. Let’s make up short dialogues like we have seen just recently.
(Ученики составляют диалоги как дано в примере.)
– Hello!
– Hello! How are you?
– Where are you from?
– Oh, I am from Wales. And what country are you from?
– I am from England. What’s your nationality?
– I am Welsh. And what about you?
– I’m British.
– Thanks, bye!
– Goodbye!
VIII. Домашнее задание (3 мин.)
Учитель. You have a really good job today! Excellent! Your home task for the next lesson will be this: PB p. 11 ex.16 –read and translate the text.
