Цель урока:
- работать над развитием умений устной монологической и диалогической речи по теме;
- учить делать сообщения описательного характера.
- развивать память, логическое мышление, творческое воображение, выразительную речь;
- тренировать умения аудирования.
- воспитать чувство толерантности, культуру общения, чувство понимания и уважения ценностей представителей других культур; воспитать любовь и гордость за свою родину,развитие патриотических качеств личности школьника.

- Начало урока. (Приветствие; сообщение цели урока; речевая зарядка).
- Центральная часть урока:
1) работа над текстом
2) ролевая игра «Встреча иностранного гостя»:
– приветствие с чак-чаком
– знакомство с гостем
3) ответы на вопросы иностранца
4) Сценка «Халыклар дуслыгы – Татарстан байлыгы» татарском языке
III.Заключительная часть урока:
– оценивание деятельности учащихся на уроке, выставление отметок

T: Good morning, dear guests, dear children! I’m glad to see you. How are you today? I think everything is O.K. Are you ready to start?

T: Dear children! I expect our lesson to be very interesting and exciting today, because we are going to talk about our dearest and the most favorite place on the Earth. Can you guess what place it is?
P: I suppose we are going to talk about Tatarstan.
T: Right you are. Say me the name of our lesson, please.
P: The name of our lesson is “Tatarstan, my Homeland.” Today at the lesson we’ll speak about our native republic– the Republic of Tatarstan.
T:Now tell me, please, where do you live and how can you describe your homeland?
P: I live in the Republic of Tatarstan. It is my homeland. My homeland is very beautiful. There are a lot of deep forests, wide fields and long rivers here. I love my motherland very much.

P:The official name of our republic is the Republic of Tatarstan.

P:The population of our republic is about 4 million people.
G:Why do you call the Republic of Tatarstan a multinational republic?
P:We call Tatarstan a multinational republic because people of different ethnic groups live there.
G:What nations make up the Republic of Tatarstan?
P:Tatars, Russians, Chuvash’s, Bashkir’s, Mordva and other nations make up the Republic of Tatarstan.
G:Tatarstan is one of the largest republics in the Russian Federation, isn’t it?
P:Yes, it is.
G:What is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan?
P:The capital of Tatarstan is Kazan. know that Kazan is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the Volga region. It is rich in historical and cultural monuments.

P1:Sabantuy is the most popular festival in Tatarstan. It is a celebration of the “plough”–saban in Tatar.This holiday takes place at the beginning of summer.
P2:During this festival there are a lot of competitions. The most exciting are the horse races
P3:Another popular competition is the national wrestling. At the end they choose a winner. He is usually given a good prize.

Reading Text: The Republic of Tatarstan
The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most beautiful and developed regions in Russia. It is located where the two large rivers, the Volga and the Kama, meet. Tatarstan is a very large region—it is even bigger than European countries like Belgium or the Netherlands.
The capital of the republic is Kazan, a city with a history of more than one thousand years. People often call Kazan the «Third Capital of Russia» or the place «where East meets West.» This is because different cultures and religions live together here in peace and harmony. You can see beautiful Christian churches and Muslim mosques standing close to each other. The most famous place in the city is the Kazan Kremlin, which is protected by UNESCO. Inside the Kremlin, you can find the modern Kul Sharif Mosque and the famous leaning Söyembikä Tower.
More than 3.8 million people live in Tatarstan. There are two official languages here: Russian and Tatar. Children learn both languages at school. The region is also famous for its traditional food, like öçpoçmaq(triangular meat pies) and chack-chack (a sweet honey dessert).
Tatarstan is not only rich in culture but also rich in nature and industry. It has huge oil fields and produces modern trucks called KAMAZ. It is a wonderful place to visit, study, and live!
