Цели:

обучающий аспект: совершенствование навыков монологической устной речи и грамматических навыков по теме Conditionals;

развивающий аспект: развитие самостоятельности, креативности и интеллектуальных способностей обучающихся;

воспитательный аспект: воспитание позитивного отношения к отечественной истории и чувства патриотизма через осмысление прошлого.

Ход урока

Look at the board and let’s read the poem. (1-й слайд)

I guess I got old before my time,

III. Речевая зарядка

Look at the picture and think over 5 nouns, 5 verbs, 5 adjectives connecting with the picture. You have 5 minutes to do the task. (2-й слайд)

Now, write one example from each category on the blackboard.

Let’s check each other and correct if it is necessary.

– Please, look at the picture, read the poem once more and try to guess, what will we speak about during our lesson? (3-й слайд)

– We’ll speak about Great Patriotic War.

– Ok, you are right, according to the poem tell me the grammar of this lesson.

– It’s conditionals.

– Nice! What can you say about Great Patriotic War? What date did we celebrate this year? (4-й слайд)

– this year is the 78^th anniversary of the Victory.

– What do you know about this war? Give me some sentences one by one.

– It was between USSR and Germany.

Find ex 2 on p 126 and remember conditionals in English.

– How many conditionals do you know?

– 2.

– Yes, we know zero and first conditionals.

– Look, remember and give me some examples.

– 0k! there are 4 conditionals in English. Today, we’ll learn the second and the third conditionals.

– Let’s learn the table (Изучаем таблицу.)

– Now, let’s do some ex-s. I give you some cards, your task is to begin or to finish the sentences. (работа в терадях самостоятельно)

– Now, let’s check each other, change your exercise books and check your friend.

VIII. Развитие навыков устной речи частично используя структуру «Corners» (6-й слайд)

Look at the corners and read the tables.

1. Hitler

3. a soldier who died in the war
4. a soldier returning from the war

– Do you know this persons? Well, choose one of them, and go to that corner

–  your task is to continue the sentences from the name of your character and name the number of conditional. Please don’t forget about main and if-clause. You have 3 minutes to prepare the tallest will begin to do the task.

– Nice of you!!! I think you understand the conditionals and are ready to use them in sentences.
